See you soon, Vira!
Dear Young Storytellers community,
We are both sad and full of gratitude to announce that an important member of our family, Liviera Lim, is leaving Young Storytellers. Vira (not Liv), as we all know and love her, has been a part of YS for over 8 years, working as a mentor, intern, actor, and staff member. Vira will be taking the opportunity to spend the rest of the year working in the Entertainment Department of a resort in Vermont. From there, she will spend the fall semester writing her thesis with the goal of graduating in December with a masters degree in Education. She hopes to return to LA next year to walk at her graduation ceremony and, as she says, to rejoin in the YS magic.
Vira truly embodies what it means to be a part of Young Storytellers. It has been a privilege to watch her grow throughout her time at the company, but even more so, it has been amazing to see the impact she has had on our community. From inspiring students to engaging volunteers, designing new training models to uplifting her fellow staff members, Vira has helped shape Young Storytellers to be an inclusive, joyful, and transformative space.
From all of us here at Young Storytellers, we wish you the best on these new adventures and can’t wait to see how you continue to share your spark with the world.
Cheers,
Young Storytellers
