The First Annual Day of Giving

On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Young Storytellers hosted our first ever annual Day of Giving. This was a one-day initiative to fundraise $25,000 and secure 100 volunteer commitments for the 2023-2024 school year.

At Young Storytellers, we know the difference one day can make. If you have ever seen a Young Storytellers program in action, then you know that a day can make a huge difference in a young life. In a day, a student can fall in love with writing, meet a new mentor, or see their words come to life on stage.

We are proud to announce that our Day of Giving was a success! With the help of our Young Storytellers family and match gifts from generous donors, we were able to raise $30,000. This means that we can go into the next semester strong, ensure that our important programming continues, and invest even more in the future of our organization and young people.
