A free storytelling program for 6th grade ELA teachers from Warner Bros. Discovery, DC Comics, & Young Storytellers

What is Story Lab?

WBD Story Lab is an in-school storytelling curriculum developed by Warner Bros. Discovery, Young Storytellers, and Los Angeles Unified Division of Instruction. The program provides sixth-grade middle school English Language arts teachers with professional development and an in-class curriculum focused on narrative storytelling, creative expression and exploration of student voice through superhero stories.

As part of the curriculum, students will showcase their voices by creating their own biographical superhero stories and comic book covers. Students will also have the opportunity to share their stories aloud for their classes and peers.
