At Young Storytellers, we value equity, empathy, and respect for everyone, including our staff. We also value transparency, and so we're sharing our process facilitated by Your Truth at Work to repair harm that's been caused to BIPOC staff by white staff, leadership, and community members.
The Achievery Launch: Digital Learning for Everyone!
We're so excited to announce that we're part of The Achievery, a free digital learning platform through AT&T! This learning resource is designed to make distance learning more engaging, entertaining, and inspiring for K-12 students.
First Alumni Dinner - IN-PERSON
We’re so excited that we recently had an in-person reunion dinner with 13 of our Young Storytellers adult alumni! Each of them participated in a Young Storytellers program when they were students - some more than 8 years ago - and we’re so glad they want to stay in touch.
Community Gifts: Our Turn to Give Back
We are committing to giving financial gifts to local organizations each year, particularly those that are BIPOC-led, BIPOC-serving, and those that provide services that address the overall wellness of our students.

We're excited to host a workshop with licensed social workers Cherie Hudson and Sofia Martinez to provide some insight and tools for addressing student anxiety that could surface during this transition period. Join us as we learn how student anxiety can show up in the classroom and best practices to navigate these challenges.
